Healing Arts

I am cycling this 10km with my family, including our 2 children aged 7 & 9 years old who constantly see beauty and inspiration when immersed in creativity and the arts in all it's forms. They share my passion that arts can have a positive effect on our wellbeing and mental health. From personal experiences the painting on a wall, mural to distract my children and a space where I could say goodbye to loved ones made a huge difference to me making me so passionate about the difference the arts can make. The Healing Arts programmes which can only exist with your support goes above and beyond what the NHS can usually provide and your funding will help provide access to the arts, connection with nature when they are here and support better experiences for patients, visitors and staff.
