Raising funds for Therapy Garden by Chestnut Ward for allowing rehabilitation outside.
My story
We are the dedicated charity of Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals, and we aim to improve and enhance the experience of patients, their families, carers and staff at both Ashford and St Peter's hospitals.
The therapy and nursing team on Chestnut Ward at St.Peters Hospital are actively creating a multi use therapy garden for patients and an outside space for staff. We aim to achieve:
walking paths for outdoor mobilising
Sitting practice
Reaching and balance practice
Outdoor rehab games
Sensory for mental health
